This is by far the best pump that I have ever used. The soft cups provide no pain pumping. While trying to increse my milk supply I needed to pump at least ten minutes after each feeding. My other two pumps left my nipples extremely sore after two days of constant nursing and pumping. I saw this pump online and decided to give it a try. The pump combined with the customer support has enabled me to increase my milk supply. Since I will be returning to work in a couple of weeks, this is load off of my mind. Thank you Simplisse!

I was fortunate to be a test mom for Simplisse and received this pump as part of the research. It took me a little while for my body to get used to the pump at first. I contacted customer service and they were really helpful. They gave me some tips on how to assemble the pump more efficiently, and they sent me new tubes/caps in case it wasn't sealing properly to improve the suction (which did help). They also emailed me some advice to help me increase my yield. After a couple weeks of using it once or twice a day, my body got used to the pump and I was able to pump enough for full feedings. I haven't had any problems with it since.
The best thing about this pump is how comfortable it is. It uses a combination of compression and suction, so it actually feels a bit like you're nursing. I also own an old Medela Pump in Style model, which is far less comfortable and feels more like I'm being milked with all the tugging.
I do think the pump could use more suction though. While the Medela is no where near as comfortable, I am able to express more milk with it because it has stronger suction.
Overall I think it's a very good pump. Stronger suction would make it a great pump. The parts are easy to clean, and the bag it comes in is really nice looking. Some other reviewers have complained about it being too loud. While it is louder than the Medela, it really doesn't bother me. I can't say enough good things about their customer service. That first time I called they spent at least minutes on the phone with me, and then they followed up a few times via email to make sure everything was working well for me.
I recommend this pump to any nursing mom who wants to use this as a companion to breastfeeding as the product title suggests. I don't recommend it for anyone who needs to exclusively pump and bottle feed right away, because, from my experience, this pump may take a little while for your body to get used to.

I have used both the Simplesse pump and the traditional electric pumps, and I have to say that there is simply no comparison! The Simplesse pump is simply the best I've seen on the market. With the traditional electric pump, I experienced a lot of discomfort, especially as a new nursing mother. I had no trouble or pain using the Simplesse pump. The pumping action is so much more natural and doesn't pull or tug on the breast. I've recommended this pump to a number of new mothers because I believe in it that much! This product is revolutionary!
